Winter walks
Piesendorf is surrounded by gorgeous nature with many footpaths which will lead you to higher parts in the mountains. You are in the middle of the biggest national park of the Alpes, National Park Hohe Tauern. From the village you are able to go on gorgeous walks through white snow-capped mountains.
Cross-country skiing
There is a cross-country track where you can step on directly as from the pension. Furthermore there are several tracks in the direct surroundings, such as:
- Ortsloipe Kaprun (
15 km) - Höheloipe am Kitzsteinhorn (
3 km) - Nightloipe in Kaprun (
3 km) - Connecting loipe to Saalfelden (
100 km) - Connection to the Pinzgauer Loipe (
200 km)
Funsports
On the “Erlebnisberg Nagelköpfel” you can practise all kinds of funsports, such as funrodelen, SkyGliding and SnowTubing.
