Holiday with a dog
We know from our own experience: It is often not easy for dog owners to find dog-friendly accommodation.
Dogs are welcome in several of our accommodations.
In Haus Piesendorf, dogs are allowed in some apartments upon request.
We recommend our Tauernhütte and Chalet am Park for guests with dogs. These detached accommodations have a fenced garden – ideal for your four-legged friend.
Each accommodation features a luxurious dog bed with a food and water station. We can also provide a clean dog blanket upon request, but your dog might prefer their own. The cost is €10 per night for one dog and €15 per night for two dogs. We also have a little surprise for your dog.

Things to know
Check with your veterinarian in advance about which vaccinations your dog needs abroad. A rabies vaccination is required for Austria and Germany. Also, remember tick and/or flea treatment, as Austria is a high-risk country for these parasites, especially in forests and tall grass during spring, autumn, and summer months.
In Austria, dogs must be kept on a leash everywhere. Dogs are allowed in elevators, but a muzzle is required. You can rent a muzzle from the ticket office for a deposit. A muzzle is also required on public transportation.
Our cabin is located near a dog exercise area, a fenced meadow where your dog can play. On warm days, your dog can also swim in the Salzach River.
We have good contacts with a veterinarian nearby, so if anything happens with your dog during your holiday, we can help you.
Upon request, you can join a guided dog walk with an experienced guide. Advance booking is unfortunately not possible. We can only check your availability upon arrival. The cost is €50 per person per day. For more information about these walks, please contact us.
