After two successful editions, THE AWAKENING presented by elooa & Nitro Snowboards is back for its third edition. Two days of snowboarding at Kitzsteinhorn, an evening full of snowboard movies at the historic Burg Kaprun and a Community Ride on Sunday.

For everyone who wants to spend the whole weekend with us, SEASON AWAKENING already starts on Friday evening with arrival and check in. The package including accommodation is already available online. Perfect if you want to be there from the very beginning.

Saturday is all about snowboarding. At the Nitro Testcenter, you can test the latest Nitro gear, while different sessions will take place in the park. Whether you want to try new gear, shred together or simply enjoy your first runs of the season, it’s all about snowboarding and good times. In the evening, the historic Burg Kaprun becomes the meeting point for snowboarders from all over Europe. After the reception and Welcome Speech, we’ll spend the evening watching new snowboard movies, discovering exciting projects and enjoying live music. On the movie schedule: KIPPIS – A Nitro Team Gathering, BIRRU HITOTSU ONEGAISHIMASU - Griffin Siebert, YATZY - Ståle Sandbech & Torgeir Bergrem and MILK – Werni Stock & Tom Tramnitz Live music will be provided by Mark Swoboda & Swingarten. Afterwards, we’ll keep things relaxed with music and drinks.

Every four weeks, we gather at Seecamp with a view of the lake, practice variations of the Moon Salutation, and turn inward through meditation.

What is Full Moon Flow?
A yoga class that always takes place on the full moon. Each session is dedicated to the unique energy of the respective moon phase.

What can you expect?
Moon Salutations or variations, a beautiful meditation, and a journaling exercise inspired by the theme of the full moon.

Who are the classes for?
For all yogis – regardless of experience or level – as well as all moon lovers and anyone interested in the energy of the moon.

Then Freeride Monday is for you. An experienced guide takes you to the best spots and shares valuable tips for riding safely away from the groomed slopes. Sign up for the BEGINNER WORKSHOP if this is your first time off-piste. Already have some experience? Then the ADVANCED WORKSHOP is the right choice for you.

Embark on a mystical journey into the heart of the Kitzsteinhorn

On the TOP OF SALZBURG panorama platform, you meet your guide – a real ranger from the Hohe Tauern National Park. Together, you head into the mountain. With every step through the mystical, 360-m-long National Park Gallery info tunnel, you feel the glacier’s heartbeat. At six stations, the ranger gives fascinating insights into the history, technology, natural treasures, flora and fauna of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the end of the tunnel, a breathtaking highlight awaits you: The National Park Gallery panorama platform gives a spectacular view into the untouched mountain world of the National Park. To the south, you can even see the Grossglockner – Austria’s highest mountain.

Hit the Bumps | Dive into the World of Mogul Skiing
Mogul runs often look more intimidating than they really are. With the right technique and the guidance of a professional coach, you'll learn how to stay in control of your speed, choose the right line, and move through the moguls with increasing confidence and flow.

The first tips come during the gondola ride before you prepare for the unique movements of mogul skiing with targeted exercises. Then it's time to hit the bumps: find your line, give it a try, get feedback – and head straight into the next run. Your coach is with you every step of the way, analyzing your technique and showing you how small adjustments can make a big difference. With the help of video analysis, you'll see exactly what's already working well – and how to make your next run even smoother and more controlled.

Meeting point: 9 am | in front of the Alpincenter InfoService at 2,450 m
Duration: approx. 5,5 hours (incl. a lunch break at the Alpincenter, free time to enjoy)

No prior shooting experience required.

Full of anticipation for the arrival of christmas, we will travel on 24 December 2026, on our diesel vintage train from Zell am See to Mittersill and back. The christchild will be with us on both the outward and return journeys and will distribute small surprises to the children.

Every Friday you can participate at the Snowshoe hike on the Maiskogel in Kaprun.
The transfer takes you to an altitude of approx. 1,100 m, to the starting point on the Maiskogel. Following a check of the equipment and a short briefng, we are on our way off-piste through the romantic winter landscape. No previous experience required.
Depending on the snow conditions, it can also be a Winter-hike.

Then Freeride Monday is for you. An experienced guide takes you to the best spots and shares valuable tips for riding safely away from the groomed slopes. On the TOP OF SALZBURG panorama platform, you meet your guide – a real ranger from the Hohe Tauern National Park. Together, you head into the mountain. With every step through the mystical, 360-m-long National Park Gallery info tunnel, you feel the glacier’s heartbeat. At six stations, the ranger gives fascinating insights into the history, technology, natural treasures, flora and fauna of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Hohe Tauern National Park. At the end of the tunnel, a breathtaking highlight awaits you: The National Park Gallery panorama platform gives a spectacular view into the untouched mountain world of the National Park. To the south, you can even see the Grossglockner – Austria’s highest mountain.

Step by Step to Tristkogel Summit Bliss
On this guided ski tour, a certified mountain guide leads you from Langwied through 660 vertical meters of untouched nature, off the beaten track, to the 2,642-m-high Tristkogel. After a brief introduction to avalanche beacon (LVS) search, your guide shares valuable tips and tricks for backcountry skiing along the way: Which ascent techniques work best? How do you spot potential hazards? How do you pick the right line? After a relaxed summit break with breathtaking views, the highlight awaits: an exhilarating descent back down the mountain.
