On Fridays, from 8 am to 1 pm, you will be offered a large selection of culinary delicacies and much more at a number of market stalls that will continue to grow until the summer. Come to Zell's town square, enjoy the market atmosphere and buy fresh, local products. Stroll from stall to stall and choose from the delicacies: fruit, vegetables, potatoes, bread, cheese, meat, dumplings, pastries, honey, jams, oils, creative floristry and decoration, organic CBD products made in-house...
The town market will also take place in 2025 every Friday from 21 March to 19 December from 8 am to 1 pm In September there will always be live music!
Nikolaus boat cruise on the MS Schmittenhöhe

On Friday, 05.12. and Saturday, 06.12.2025 at 2, 3.30 and 5 pm, our little guests, along with their families and friends, can enjoy a magical program. It´s "all aboard" for our Nikolaus boat cruise with Nikolaus and his enchanting angels.
The Nikolaus boat cruise offers a unique opportunity to experience the anticipation of Christmas and the Christ Child in a magical setting during the 60-minute ride.
Nikolaus warmly welcomes the children, bringing smiles to their faces, while our friendly angels accompany them through the festive journey. Together they sing cheerful Christmas carols and read heartwarming poems.
Each child also has the wonderful opportunity to write a personal postcard to the Christ Child, which can then be placed at home for the Christ Child to collect. And all the well-behaved children can look forward to getting a sweet Nikolaus goodie bag!
The grown-ups are also well taken care of. Enjoy the ride with a warm cup of punch and delicious cookies. Whether it's mom, dad, grandma or grandpa - everyone will find a moment of peace and reflection in a magical atmosphere.

Musical star-advent tour

Enjoy a Star Advent-Tour through the traditional Zell am See in the pre-Christmas time. On this magical walk, you are accompanied by tranquil music. At Lake Zell, you can look forward to a magical, swimming Advent decoration composed of numerous sparkling stars. The guided tour is for free and meeting point is at 05.00pm at the Christmasmarket on the 'Stadtplatz' - town square.
The guided tour is free of charge and the meeting point is at 5 p.m. at the town square in Zell am See.
The Star Advent-Tour starts the the Christmasmarket on the town square, on to Seegasse, to the Grand Hotel, along the lake to Elisabeth Park where you can see the stars on the lake.
