Christmas Market at the Castle Kaprun 7 to 8 December 2024
10 am-6 pm
Besides the many traditional Christmas events, there is vast variety of further events guests can visit. One highlight is the Christmas market at the castle of Kaprun. It offers Advent exhibitions with more than 25 exhibitors, entertainment, traditional Krampus-processions, kids programme and best regional cuisine.
Visitors to the castle are guaranteed to find the perfect Christmas present for their loved ones.
The market has a varied offer, especially highlights for children like readings and concerts.
We look forward to a wonderful Castle Advent in Kaprun.

On Friday, 05.12. and Saturday, 06.12.2025 at 2, 3.30 and 5 pm, our little guests, along with their families and friends, can enjoy a magical program. It´s "all aboard" for our Nikolaus boat cruise with Nikolaus and his enchanting angels.
The Nikolaus boat cruise offers a unique opportunity to experience the anticipation of Christmas and the Christ Child in a magical setting during the 60-minute ride.
Nikolaus warmly welcomes the children, bringing smiles to their faces, while our friendly angels accompany them through the festive journey. Together they sing cheerful Christmas carols and read heartwarming poems.
Each child also has the wonderful opportunity to write a personal postcard to the Christ Child, which can then be placed at home for the Christ Child to collect. And all the well-behaved children can look forward to getting a sweet Nikolaus goodie bag!
The grown-ups are also well taken care of. Enjoy the ride with a warm cup of punch and delicious cookies. Whether it's mom, dad, grandma or grandpa - everyone will find a moment of peace and reflection in a magical atmosphere.
